It was a big mistake that NY was first place which we saw in USA… We compared next cities to New York City and it wasn’t that excited!
We landed in New York City about 10 pm (local time) after 7 thousand kilometers of the flight!
What was Michael’s and my first impression?
We came from the JFK airport to NYC by taxi. We saw for the first time panorama’s of New York City by night through out the taxi window. Amazing view! When we were arriving to the hotel in Manhattan we saw a lot of skyscrapers. It was the first time when we saw so many of them in neighborhood. The next day, when we left the hotel we realized that there were a lot of skyscrapers that the sun couldn’t break through them…
I will show you our plan of journey and few photos. I found photos of our plan for 2 days in New York City.

I think our plan of journey was enough for the first time for 3 days in this city. We gave up public transport completely so we were sightseeing the city on foot. My husband and I recommend all this places because we think it’s a must to see in New York City.
We slept in: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Metropolitan – New York City
New York is a city of contrasts. On the one hand, we saw there a lot of businessmen and beautiful buildings. On the other hand, there are a lot of homeless people. Despite so many contrasts this city impressed us. We knew that we come back there (of course we were right and we were in NY 2 years later).
Please leave a comment and your opinion about this big city. In the next post you will find out which direction we went.
